Afterward we headed home and I started getting everything ready for our little lowkey SuperBowl watch party - just the four of us and some healthy-ish snacks! :) I did make myself a vodka and cranberry so that was a win.

Tuesday - I came out to my car and saw this taped to my steering wheel. :) My husband still knows how to make me smile. It's the little things. :)
After getting home, I did one of the hardest workouts I have ever done, but man it feels good to be stronger now than ever before!

So proud of myself! |
On our challenge group, we were told to post one of our favorite body parts. I posted my calves because no matter what weight I am or how fit, these babies are always strong! :) |
Thursday...Paul had preordered my birthday gift and it came today. I couldn't wait and decided to open it early. I really wanted a Rad Joy Surrender Cross and he got it!! It is so special to me and it is hanging in our kitchen/dining room.
Friday - The kids had their Apex Fun Run fundraiser today and they each ran 40 laps!!They had a blast! So proud of them! I volunteered at the water station for Corey's race and I just missed Ashley's race by a few minutes but thankfully I was able to get a few pictures. She also was able to come back out later and mark off shirts during Corey's race. She was so excited to help!

I was able to stick around a little longer and sit with the kids while they had lunch. :) |
Saturday... My friend Denise is a part of the Women's ministry at University United Methodist Church and she invited me and Ashley to participate in a Love Letters/Design a Valentine's card event at the local Senior Living facility. Ashley and I had a lovely time interacting with the residents and she got to spend time with Denise's daughter, Vivian, who now goes to another school and they don't see much of one another anymore.
