Disney Princesses

In preparation for our Disneyland vacation, we have been giving Ashley a crash course in all things Disney. She aced the classic Disney characters of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy more than a year ago from watching her favorite TV show, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We've borrowed lots of Disney movies from friends and family with titles from Pinnochio to Toy Story. However, she was a little rusty on the Disney Princesses - Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, Jasmine, and Mulan (I think i got them all!) She took a special liking to the Little Mermaid, Ariel, since she is a big fan of the sea. (We frequent Sea World since we're season pass holders) But she couldn't seem to remember a lot of the other princesses, so we started doing "Princess Quizzes". She has a Disney Princess Look & Find book and we point to each princess and ask her their name. She's pretty much got them all down now, but the way that she says some of their names, cracks us up! For instance, here are some examples:

Sleeping Beauty - "Sleeping Ooty"
Princess Jasmine - "Pincess Jer-mam-in" (that's my fav!) haha

Paul was reading the Look & Find book with her last night, and he pointed to "Snow White" and asked her "What princess is this? She couldn't remember her name, and then she says, "Hmmm (then sucks her teeth) Cold...ice...SNOW WHITE!" Neither one of us has prompted her with those clues before and I was surprised that she learned to associate things to remember them. What a little smartie pants!!
