The Joys of Parenthood

After spending about a week home sick with the flu, on Wednesday we returned to work and daycare. We were ready to get out a little so after work we ventured out to Hobby Lobby to check and see if there were any Halloween decorations on sale after the holiday. We were in one isle when Ashley said "Mommy, I have to go potty....aww sh**!!" Yes, she uttered the four letter "s" word. Paul and I were more than embarrassed but couldn't help ourselves...we just had to laugh. It was so unexpected. We just couldn't believe it. There was a lady in the same isle as us and I don't think she thought it was funny because she didn't look up and had a pretty stern look on her face. Oh well...I guess we're bad parents. The embarrassment didn't stop there though. Once we got into the bathroom Ashley said at the top of her lungs "P..U...it stinks in here!" And sure enough there was a woman in one of the stalls that may or may not have been the "culprit". I guess we are in the stage when there is completely no filter. Oh, the joys of parenthood.....
