During the last week before Christmas, Paul and I decided to take the kids to Sea World for their annual Christmas Celebration events. We had a wonderful night there. The weather was a bit on the colder side which made it even better since, to me, it just doesn't quite feel like Christmas time when it's warm outside. We went to see the Polar Express in 4D (becoming a yearly ritual), The Shamu Christmas Miracles show, and the Sea Lion show -Countdown to Christmas with Clyde and Seamore. While waiting for the Shamu show to start, Paul stepped away to the "restroom", but instead came back with hot chocolate in a special Shamu mug, popcorn and a churro for us to snack on. What a sweet treat! We had a wonderful night looking at lights, kissing under the "Worlds Largest Mistletoe", posing with funny snowmen, and walking under the fun snow machines!

The following night we joined our friends Doug and Deann and their kids at the Westin La Cantera's Cowboy Christmas. We have attended this a couple of times before and it's a really fun night. They have a Cowboy telling stories around a fire pit, pretty decorations, a snow machine, gingerbread cookie making, art projects, and of course, pictures with Santa. We had a wonderful time with the kids.
