Children's Museum - March 5, 2011

Earlier this month, we spent a Saturday afternoon going to the Children's Museum downtown.  As I mentioned in the Ashley-isms post, Ashley calls the Children's Museum, the "Kids Newsam".  We had a ball at the museum and we brought along our niece, Teresa, whom Ashley just adores! Ashley asked me to put her hair like "bear ears". So these were my attempts...
Check out Teresa's shirt....it says "I'm with my BFF---->"
 They have a really cool area where there is a large airplane where the kids can pretend to be pilots or ride as a passenger.  This area is probably the highlight for Ashley.  Her other favorite areas are the children's sized HEB grocery store where you can check out at the cashier and also be a cashier and riding the tractor.  It is so much fun!  Ashley loves it at the Children's Museum so much that we are thinking we may have her 5th birthday party there in September. It's such a cute place and they have nice sized party rooms!

Blowing larger than life bubbles!
Learning about circuits! How cute are they?!
Grocery Shopping
Milking a cow (I just adore her smile!) So happy!
Getting ready to ride a tractor
Corey even had fun "people watching" and getting out for bit to play with some magnetic numbers.

The weather was beautiful that day so afterward we took a short walk downtown and then on the way home, we stopped at Sonic for some ice cream to cap off the day.
This was Paul telling them they were about to get Ice Cream!
