Hanging at home, LOTS of grocery shopping, bike rides, making forts, decorating for Halloween, shopping for Halloween costumes, and an electronics "almost" fire. Yeah, I said almost fire. Paul and I came home to a burning electronics smell in our bedroom. Paul discovered that it was our old direct tv box. It was mistakenly plugged in and I guess wasn't getting enough air circulation. Anyway, he took it outside. We left the house to do errands for a few hours ( venting the room) but the smell was still left. Paul used vinegar, and cut up onions to help absorb the smell! Good times! We contacted a friend who's a fireman, and he said to double check that the wall wasn't hot, etc. Thankfully it wasn't and we just did what we could to rid the room of the smell. It worked but we now smell onions and vinegar. LOL Very eventful weekend!
