Christmas Lights

Paul and I took the kids on Friday night to see the lights in the Windcrest neighborhood. It's a tradition in San Antonio that most of the houses in this neighborhood (over 70 homes) decorate their houses with TONS of lights and decorations. It really is super cool. So after work, we heated up our leftovers, I made a small batch of hot chocolate to put in to go mugs, grabbed one of our Christmas movies for the van, loaded the kiddos and dogs and off we went.  The kids were all snuggly in their pj's and sipping on their hot chocolate. It was so fun! They loved the lights and so did Paul and I. It was definitely a fun memory to create with the family. We did try going last year but I think that we were a week too soon and not all of the lights were up yet. This year, it was definitely worth waiting a week.

These neighbors actually made an arch of lights that went across the street. So neat!

This was actually in our neighborhood. It is decorated like the Frozen castle. We checked it out another night and the characters from the movie were there too.
So elegant and beautiful.
