Cosi, Carwashes and Cousins

Saturday was a nice day! Paul took the girls to the vet for a check up and they got a clean bill of health! For such old dogs( Kitty is 13 and Tater is 11) we are very blessed. I made a huge trip to Goodwill with stuff we've been collecting in the garage, and we went to Trader Joes. We were so happy to see Pat there since she has been working on Saturdays now as opposed to Sundays. She surprised the kids with a stuffed animal for each of them! The kids were so excited!  After TJ's I headed to lunch at Cosi to meet my friend Brandi. I haven't seen her in ages and it was so nice catching up. We were there for over 2 hours! Such a nice time! After lunch I had a coupon for a free ice cream at Marble Slab, so I had a date with myself!!

Our cars needed a drink, so I took the van to get a car wash. Then I came home and Paul had scrubbed down the entire house and was mopping the floor! I'm so lucky! The kids needed to get out so I took them to return our books to the library and got the Accord washed. The kids loved it!

After that we took the kids for a walk and ran into our new neighbors next door. They just got a new puppy named Sadie. She's like this little fur ball and Ashley just adored her. We've met the guy before but never met his wife and she was super sweet. They look like they are in their late 20s but we really hit it off and they would like to get together for dinner sometime. :) yay!

We ordered some pizza and Claire and Teresa came over for dinner, movies and a sleepover. We watched Some Like it Hot and 500 Days of Summer. Teresa and Ashley had a ball in Ashleys room watching movies and playing. I caught this photo of the sunset last night. It doesn't do it justice but I looked outside and our front porch was pink! I just had to get a photo.
