Girls Day and Boys Day! After a morning trip to Costco and Trader Joe's, we split up and Paul and Corey went to lunch and to play indoor mini golf, and Ashley and I went out together. We had a ball. She has been asking me for a long time for a Girls Day and I have wanted to have one with her, but the weekends are short and responsibilities are there and unforutnately, our girls day kept getting postponed. So glad that we were able to make it happen this weekend.
We started our day at Luciano's for pizza, then to Michael's to look for craft stuff and to browse the Christmas Clearance, then to Dollar Tree, and then off to La Cantera Mall. We walked around, got a Starbucks and browsed the American Girl store. Then we headed to the library! At Michael's I got Ashley a friendship bracelent/key chain kit and a hardbound Sketch book (which she LOVES and hasn't stopped talking about it nonstop).
After the library we went home and met up with the boys to go to the movies to see Trolls and grab some dinner. They had a fun day too!! Paul and Corey went to Chuy's for lunch and then to Monster mini golf. Paul got Corey a Super Mario Bros Chuy's shirt and whatever little trinket they won from playing skee ball at the min golf place.
Ashley and I had such a wonderful time. She loved it so much and sketched a photo of us in her new book holding Starbucks coffee cups and hugging. She is a joy!
