1st Trip to the movies

A couple of weekends ago, Paul and I decided that Ashley was old enough to sit through a movie at a movie theater. We thought the new Pixar movie "UP" would be a great 1st movie. And it surely was!! We thoroughly enjoyed the movie and Ashley was a joy. She just HAD to wear here Snow White dress to the theater, and looked super cute. Once she got her ticket, she gave it to the ticket-taker, an older gentleman, and he let her put the ticket in the slot. He had to rip it first to give her the stub, and she didn't understand why he "broke it". :o) After getting in, we took her to get her first movie popcorn. She was so excited! Then we walked to our theater and found the perfect seats towards the top. She barely cleared the end of her seat. The seat was two times the size of her! We sat through tons of previews and she kept asking, "When is the balloon movie going to start?" (that's how she associate the movie "UP). She was good as gold throughout the movie, commenting on funny parts and saying "Woah!" every now and then when neat things happened during the movie. At the end, she said "I liked that movie!"
