Hopscotch

Last evening after work, the weather was so lovely, that after dinner, I decided to take Ashley outside to play. One of the neighborhood kids, Bayli, was outside playing on her scooter and decided to come over and play with Ashley. Ashley just loved having a playmate and they both chalked and drew a hopscotch (of as Ashley would call it "hotscotch") board. Ashley learned about the game Hopscotch from the adorable show "Max and Ruby." She got the concept down of the game, but hasn't quite mastered the hopping/jumping part, but I couldn't resist and had to catch it on video. She even drew her own squares. It cracked me up! Here are some photos and videos of the kids playing. (Please don't pay too much attention to our unkept lawn. We will hopefully have some time while on maternity leave to clean it up for Spring!)

This is her jumping on Bayli's Hopscotch board.

After she completed her jumps! Woohoo!

This video is of her jumping on her Hopscotch Board.

Bayli wanted to draw a portrait of me, and here it is! Isn't it so cute?!
