Rhyming and Teeth Brushing

Ashley has REALLY been into rhyming. She likes to see what words she can rhyme. Sometimes the words aren't really words at all, but sound like the word she wants to rhyme with. For example, she will sometimes say "Life" and "Gife" but she gets the concept really well. She gets better and better too. This morning she said, "hey Mommy, "Cereal" and "Ariel" rhyme!" Or "Baby" and "Maybe". She will even call out from her room after we have already tucked her in and tell us she just thought of a good rhyme. It cracks us up!!

Last night Ashley wanted Daddy to do everything with her. She said, "C'mon Daddy, let's go brush our teeth to-gedder." Here is a photo and video of them brushing their teeth! So cute! I didn't catch this on video, but it cracked us up. Paul ritually gags when he brushes his teeth, and I guess Ashley wasn't familiar with this. So after he gags, she pats him on the back and says "Easy, Daddy, easy." It had me in hysterics! She is too much!
