Sharkey's

On our way to Sharkey's.
A couple of weeks ago, our friend Rosie invited us along with some of our friends who have little ones, to come by Sharkey's  for a little trial run party before their Grand Opening the next day.  Her brother, Miguel, is a co-owner of the little shop, so we got a little VIP treatment which was super fun!  Ashley got to play dress up and get all "dolled up" with makeup, nail polish and getting her hair done. It was very similiar to her Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience at Disneyland last summer.  She had an absolute ball with all of her friends and getting pampered.  I wish I could have been in her shoes!! Mommy could use a little bit 'o pampering herself!! :)

She already came in a dress but HAD to pick out a new one.

Getting her nails done.
Picking out her hair ties.
Getting her lipstick on!  Is she a girly girl or what?!
It was so cute how they had the place set up and the salon chairs where the kids get their haircut is little cars or jeeps and they have little TV's at each station to entertain the kids.  We even popped Corey in one of the Mini Cooper cars for a photo op!  He looked so cute!
On the "car" chair.
Look at how little he is?! So cute!
That little head.
They had a fashion show for the parents after the girls were pampered and read a little "bio" about the girls as they walked out.  While each girl was getting their nails done, they asked them their favorite color, their favorite TV star and what they wanted to be when they grew up.  Ashley said that her favorite color was pink, her favorite TV star is Max and Ruby and I can't remember what she said she wanted to be when she grew up.

This is the Fashion Show - before she freaked out and couldn't find me!
Ashley got a bit of stage fright once she got out from behind the curtain for the fashion show. She panned the room and couldn't see my face right away, so I think it freaked her out.  Poor thing! Otherwise, she did great!  It was so cute!  They had pizza and cake for the kids afterward so that was fun.
Silly Ashley!
