My little princess turned 4!! This year since we had Corey's baptism the week before and then were traveling the following week to Baltimore (work trip) and New Jersey (family visit) so it was just too much to have a big party. But we made it special by having Paul's family come over and celebrate by having pizza, cake and ice cream. She picked out the decorations (butterflies) and asked if I could make a Carousel Cake. It was my first time trying my hand at a cake of this magnitude and I thought it turned out pretty well! She seemed to like it although she did say that "it didn't look quite like the box!" I had used a Wilton Carousel kit to make the cake and the front of the box was a Circus themed cake so "technically" she was right, but I was happy with how it turned out. This year she was all about horses and lots of horses and carousels were the theme for sure. She got a large stuffed horse from us that she named "Chocolate Milk" and a barn full of horses as well as a horse on a pole that made the hippity hop clacking sound as she skips around the house. We love you Ashley! Happy 4th Birthday Sweetie!
