Corey's 2nd Birthday Party

On April 7th, we celebrated Corey's birthday by having a small family party.  We of course had to have a theme, so since Corey loves to watch the show Thomas and Friends (Corey calls him "Momas") we felt it was appropriate to choose that theme. We decked out the house with all things Thomas, hung streamers and balloons, and had the Thomas show playing in the background. It turned out really cute! Corey just loved seeing all the decorations. We even had him wear a Thomas T-shirt. We ordered another extra special cake from our favorite cake lady, Melanie, from Our Delicious Deliveries, and it was ADORABLE as always. It was the perfect centerpiece to the day.

My Mom was in town so it was even more special having her here. She was also an amazing help getting all the details together. Although, we did make it pretty easy on ourselves this year and just ordered pizzas (Corey calls it "seeza") and we made some sides like a garden salad, hummus and pita as well as some chips, dips and salsa.  Corey got some awesome gifts and afterward we all went outside to enjoy the day out back. We bought one of those cool water misters to use over the summer, so the kids had a ball getting wet! Also, we got Corey a T-ball set and a little lawn mower, so the kids were playing with that as well!  It was a relaxing and enjoyable day! We love you Corey!
