Valentine Weekend

The photo above are flowers that Paul surprised me with at my office on Thursday. He was so sweet. He came up to visit me in the office and said to unzip his jacket...of course I was like "Paul we are at WORK" LOL, but then once I unzipped I saw that he had tucked a bunch of flowers inside his jacket. He said that one of the student organizations was selling them outside and he wanted to surprise me with them. How sweet!! It was so nice to look at them over the next couple of days at work. :)

That same day, I didn't know that Corey's class was giving out valentines on thursday instead of friday. Unfortunately, not all of Corey's valentines were written out yet and I left them on the kitchen table. Thankfully, Paul stops home each day after he picks up Ashley from school and was able to bring them by to his classroom. Paul stayed and helped Corey finish writing out his valentines. Below is a photo of them with some of the stickers from his valentines. How cute are they??

After breakfast, we headed to the Pearl Farmers Market. We met up with the DiMaio's and celebrated Claire's 16th birthday!! I can't believe little "peace be with you"Claire is 16! I met that sweet child when she was just 1 year old. Wow, time sure does fly.
We all had some yummy baked goods at Bakery Lorraine. That place rocks!
Silly pics with Gina!!

The kids hung outside and ran in the field, read books and drew pictures.

On Sunday, we had our usual Trader Joe's run. We really miss Pat. She has been working on Saturdays now so we miss seeing her on Sundays. We are going to try and go on a Saturday morning since we've missed our chats. She did talk us up to the new girl that is there on Sundays and we tried some really good Coconut Pancakes. We ordered the mix to try this week! On our way out the door, one of the cashiers who we see each week asked us if we wanted to take home a bunch of heart shaped balloons for the kids. Well, we couldn't say no! The kids were thrilled and it looks really festive in our house. :)

Paul and I spent the greater part of Sunday cleaning the kids bedroom and getting rid of stuff. It was nice to get those rooms in order. They were getting pretty messy!!
