Dog Park

A couple weekends ago, Paul and I decided to treat the dogs to some new collars, leashes and bowls. To top it all off, we thought an afternoon at the dog park would be fun! We've never taken the dogs to the dog park before and weren't really sure what to expect. We heard some nice reviews and decided to give it a try. It was a blast! We thought that Kitty was going to be very shy, but she surprised the heck out of us! She held her head high and her tail was out. She definitely enjoyed herself. She ran with lots of other dogs and was very friendly and outgoing which is totally not her style. On the other hand, Tater was the one we were nervous about and she was the shy one! Her very favorite beat up "flat-as-a-pancake" frisbee was stolen on several occasions by the 6th month old male German Shepherd and she didn't even once growl or snap. I thought for sure we would have our hands full with her, but it worked out great! Fun was had by all! Even Ashley was having fun with lots of dogs that stopped by our bench to say "hi!"
